Brian K. Carns, 54, of Hyde died Thursday, March 7, 2013. He was born Nov. 28, 1958, a son of the late Philip and Esther (Cupler) Carns.
He graduated from the Clearfield High School in 1976. After graduation, he was employed at Rockwell Co., DuBois, for more than 30 years.
Also, Mr. Carns worked at Palumbo’s, DuBois, the Wal-Mart Supercenter in Clearfield and most recently at A.L.M. Machine Shop, Philipsburg. He was an avid hunter and fisherman.
He is survived by three children, Clifford Joseph Carns of Emporium and Heather Territo and her husband, Jayson and Stephanie Myers, all of Dubois; two grandsons, Shaquan Carns and Kameron Territo; and two sisters, Bonnie Williams of Hyde and Diana Bloom and her husband, James R. of Clearfield.
In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by a sister, Debra Ann Mancini; a brother, Clifford E. ‘Kip’ Carns; and a brother-in-law, Benjamin Williams.
Private graveside services will be held at the convenience of the family at the Bradford Cemetery, Woodland.
In lieu of flowers, the family suggests that memorial contributions be made to the Kevin A. Beardsley Funeral Home, 113 N. Third St., Clearfield.
