DUBOIS – The DuBois Business College Sorority has completed a project to benefit its local community.
The sorority recently concluded a clothing drive, which lasted more than two weeks at the main campus. Sorority members placed boxes throughout the campus to collect lightly-worn clothing. All types of clothing for babies, kids and adults were collected and sorted for redistribution to agencies such as Catholic Charities and others, which will give this clothing to needy people in our local area.
Through the sorority’s effort, in conjunction with the student body, faculty and staff of DuBois Business College, local agencies such as Catholic Charities can now support many more families throughout the year. Needy families in the local area will appreciate the support provided through this clothing drive effort.
Projects such as the Sorority clothing drive are an important part of DuBois Business College’s desire to develop not only the academic skills of the students, but their moral and community involvement skills as well.
