An incident of harassment occurred sometime between 12:01 a.m. Wednesday and 7 a.m. Friday at the Penfield Mini-Mart in Huston Township. A Penfield man allegedly harassed a Penfield woman repeatedly. The man was charged with harassment.
An incident of burglary occurred sometime between 3 p.m. Saturday and 8:30 a.m. Sunday at a Kyle Run Road camp in Washington Township. Someone broke into the camp via the front door and removed two kerosene heaters and a battery-operated lantern.
No injuries were reported following a single-vehicle accident at 4 a.m. Thursday on state Route 28 in Warsaw Township. William R. Winkelman, 40, of Brockway was traveling southbound and fell asleep. His vehicle traveled off the roadway and impacted a utility pole. He wasn’t injured and left the scene prior to contacting police. Winkelman will be cited for the accident.
No injuries were reported after a single-vehicle accident at 2:24 a.m. Friday on Main Street in Reynoldsville Borough. Darren A. Shepler, 21, of DuBois was traveling westbound when he attempted to jump the Tickle Belly Bridge. He subsequently lost control of his vehicle and crashed. Shepler and his passenger, Dustin K. Sayers, 23, of Reynoldsville then fled the scene on foot. Shepler will be cited for multiple traffic violations. State police were assisted the Reynoldsville Volunteer Fire Department.
