Two Arrested after Physical Altercation in Ridgway Twp.

RIDGWAY – A man and woman were arrested after a physical altercation that occurred on Wednesday at a Water Street Extension residence in Ridgway Township.

According to the Ridgway-based state police, Kara A. Wolfe, 21, of St. Marys and Dean W. Bowley, 33, of Johnsonburg engaged in an argument that led to a physical altercation over a child custody issue. Bowley allegedly pushed Wolfe, while she was inside his residence.  She exited the residence and entered her vehicle in the driveway.

At that point, Bowley attempted to gain access to her driver’s side door. Her door was locked and he allegedly pulled the handle off the vehicle. Wolfe then allegedly put her vehicle in reverse and backed over Bowley’s foot, injuring him.

Bowley was treated and released from the Elk Regional Health Center, state police said. Wolfe was arrested for simple assault and harassment. Bowley was arrested for simple assault, harassment and criminal mischief.  Both were arraigned in district court and released on $2,500 unsecured bail.
