Police Report: Curwensville Borough

A Curwensville man was arraigned on charges of simple assault, recklessly endangering another person, terroristic threats, harassment and disorderly conduct following an incident of domestic violence on Monday morning. He was placed in the Clearfield County Jail on $25,000 bail. The man had injuries on his face and arms and was taken to the Clearfield Hospital. He’d sustained the injuries, as the couple’s dog began attacking him while he was allegedly assaulting a woman.
A burglary was reported to police that occurred sometime Friday evening at a Curwensville Commons residence. The victim found prescription medication was missing.
An overdose occurred at a Pennsylvania Avenue residence. The person was transported to the Clearfield Hospital for a mental health evaluation.
