Police Report: Clearfield PSP

An incident of criminal mischief occurred at 9:28 a.m. Monday on Horton Street in Decatur Township. Someone broke a window on a 59-year-old Philipsburg woman’s vehicle.
Minor injuries were reported following a single-vehicle accident at approximately 3:40 p.m. Monday on state Route 253 in Gulich Township. Joshua A. Wojtowich, 28, of Beccaria was traveling northbound when he lost control of his vehicle on the snow-covered roadway. It traveled across the southbound lane and off the western shoulder. There, it impacted a dirt embankment, causing the vehicle to overturn onto its roof approximately 25 feet off SR 253. Wojtowich was transported to the Clearfield Hospital for treatment of minor injuries. He was wearing his seatbelt at the time of the accident. He will be cited for roadways laned for traffic through the district court in Houtzdale. State police were assisted at the scene by the Ramey Volunteer Fire Company, Houtzdale Ambulance and Buckwalter’s Towing.
