- Sandy Township police were assisted with a warrant service.
- A single-vehicle accident occurred along the Old Erie Pike. Andrew Lobb of Brisbin was traveling northbound and negotiating a left-hand turn. Lobb lost control of his vehicle on the ice-covered roadway and struck an embankment. Lobb was not injured.
- An incident of burglary was reported during which a Play Station 3 was allegedly stolen. The incident remains under investigation.
- A lost dog was reported in the Hyde area. The dog is a brown and white boxer.
- An alarm was reported at a local business, which police found to be secured.
- A single-vehicle accident occurred on the Old Erie Pike. A Curwensville man’s vehicle slid on black ice, and he lost control of the same. No injuries were reported.
- A business alarm occurred along South Second Street, and police found it secured.
- A domestic dispute occurred at the Riverside Motel.
- Two missing children were reported in the Glen Richey area. The children were soon found and returned to their residence.
- Police were contacted to be-on-the-look-out for a 13-year-old boy in the Hyde area.
- A possible stolen vehicle was reported to police. The vehicle was later found to be repossessed, police said.
- A theft complaint was reported to police and later withdrawn.
- An 18-year-old man was taken into custody after a domestic dispute. He’s facing charges of simple assault, recklessly endangering another person, disorderly conduct and harassment. His bail was set at $25,000 straight. He was placed in the Clearfield County Jail. The man’s preliminary hearing has been scheduled for Jan. 23.
- A domestic dispute occurred between two brothers, and police handled the incident at the scene.
- An open door was found at a Hyde business. Police cleared the building and then contacted the owner.
