Two vehicles were involved in a minor accident Wednesday at the intersection of state Route 219 and Slab Run Road. No injuries and minor damage were reported.
A 72-year-old DuBois woman lost control of her vehicle Wednesday on U.S. Route 322 near the Thunderbird. Her vehicle traveled across the roadway and over an embankment before coming to rest against a tree. The woman was extricated from the vehicle and transported to the DuBois Regional Medical Center for injuries.
On Wednesday, a 43-year-old Brookville man reported that a known 47-year-old DuBois woman had been harassing him at his place of work in the DuBois Mall. Officers handled the situation without incident.
A White Pine Road woman reported her 19-year-old spaniel-sheltie named Lucky was missing on Wednesday.
On Wednesday, a 21-year-old Lewistown man reported that he saw a dirt bike for sale on the Internet that matched the description of one he had stolen from him. Officers along with the man went to the residence that was advertising the bike and found it was the man’s. The residents had purchased the bike from another person in Saxton. The investigation is continuing.
A 16-year-old Sykesville girl lost control of her vehicle on Wednesday near the intersection of Guy and Long avenues, causing it to strike a telephone pole. The pole broke off. No injuries were reported.
A false alarm occurred Wednesday at PNC Bank.
A 41-year-old DuBois man reported that while his vehicle was parked Thursday at DuBois Mall, someone damaged the left rear quarter panel of his truck.
Officers responded to a reported domestic dispute Thursday at a Treasure Lake residence. A 66-year-old man and his 34-year-old wife were involved in a verbal dispute over dinner, which turned physical. The situation was handled without incident. No injuries were observed on either party.
A Dubois man reported that his vehicle was hit and damaged either at K-Mart or Wal-Mart on Thursday.
A 22-year-old Salada Road woman reported someone entered her house Thursday, while she was away and took her flat screen TV. The investigation is continuing.
