On Monday, a 23-year-old Pifer Street woman reported that someone entered her vehicle that was parked in front of her residence and ransacked it. A pair of work gloves that didn’t belong to the vehicle owner was found. Nothing was reported missing.
A Garden Grove resident reported that a 20-year-old man kicked the front door of their residence in and then passed out on the floor on Monday. He was escorted out of the residence and was later found highly intoxicated on Brady Street. He was taken into custody and transported to the Clearfield County Jail on a 48-hour detainer.
Police received a report about shots being fired Tuesday in the area of Salada Road. A 35-year-old Salada Road man told police that a neighbor was shooting in the direction of people. Upon investigation it was found that the 43-year-old man was shooting at targets in his back yard. The situation was handled without incident.
An Overdorf Avenue resident reported a known 28-year-old woman was trespassing on their property on Tuesday. She was removed by police and told not to return. Officers were called back to the residence after the woman came back and was harassing the residents. She was taken into custody and transported to CCJ on a 48-hour detainer.
