Gloria May Brodersen, 76, of Philipsburg died Monday, Dec. 24, 2012 at Epworth Manor in Tyrone.
She was the daughter of the late Rhody and Agnes (Shankey) Dixon born May 2, 1936 in Philipsburg. She married Hans Brodersen on April, 19, 1968 in Los Angeles, CA. He preceded her in death July 22, 1997.
Mrs. Brodersen was a member of the Church of the Nazarene in Clearfield.
She was a homemaker and a 1954 graduate of the Osceola Mills High School.
Mrs. Brodersen is survived by a daughter, Kim Smyers of DeBary, FL; a brother, Rhoudy Dixon and his wife, Pastor Connie Dixon of Morrisdale; two granddaughters, Courtney and Brittany Smyers of DeBary, FL; a niece, Rhonda Yastro and her husband, David of Philipsburg; and two great-newphews, Ryan and Zane Yastro.
A memorial services will be held at 1 p.m. Saturday at the Senior Center in the Philipsburg Towers, 300 N. Front St., Philipsburg, with the Rev. John Versaw, and the Rev. Robert Thomas co-officiating.
There will be no public visitation.
