Mary Catherine Diefenbach, 85, of Houtzdale died Sunday, Jan. 13, 2013 at the Mount Nittany Medical Center, State College.
She was born Dec. 11, 1927 in Johnstown, the daughter of Claude and Mary Ann (McQuillen) Diefenbach. She was a graduate of the Johnstown Catholic High School and a member of Christ the King Catholic Church, Houtzdale.
She lived and worked in Niagara Falls for many years.
After retiring she came home to care for her mother and father to whom she was devoted and loved. She will be missed by many.
She’s survived by three nephews, Donald, Larry and Daniel Diefenbach, along with several cousins and many friends.
She was preceded in death by her parents and a brother, Donald Diefenbach
At Miss Diefenbach’s request, there will be no public visitation or service.
Burial will be in St. Lawrence Cemetery.
