Paulette E. (Verdavoir) Jury, 60, of Philipsburg died Thursday, Dec. 6, 2012 at her residence. She was born June 30, 1952, a daughter of the late Paul J. and Ruth (Waugh) Verdavoir.
She was employed for 25 years for the H.J. Heinz Co. of Fremont, OH. And, since
2007 she was the owner and manager of the Ramey General Store and P.J.’s Cafe.
She was a member of the Son-Rise Fellowship Church, Houtzdale, and the Ladies of MOOSE #2259, Madera, where she was a past recorder. She also was a member of the Eagles Ladies Auxiliary, Bellevue, OH.
She’s survived by the following children, Richard Stombaugh and his wife,
Melissa; Cassandra Stombaugh and Brian Jury, all of Bellevue, OH; Joseph Stombaugh and his wife, Jo Ann of Fremont, OH; and Shawn Jury and his wife, Adrienne of Philipsburg and 12 grandchildren.
She’s also survived by six sisters, Rebecca Craver and her husband, Lee of Patton; Rose Woodling and her husband, Rick of Ebensburg; Sue Lambert of St. Johns, MI; Jennie Corson and her husband, Mike of Glasgow; Jackie Kaya of Ramey; and Georgene Stokes of Philipsburg.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Stanley M. Jury on May 24, 2010 and who she married April 8, 2000 in Bellevue, OH; a sister, Vickie Walk; and two brothers, Stephen and Charles Verdavoir.
Friends will be received from 1 p.m. – 3 p.m. and from 5 p.m. – 7 p.m. Wednesday and from 10 a.m. until the hour of services Thursday at the Kruise Funeral Home Inc., Ramey.
Funeral services will be held at 11 a.m. Thursday at the funeral home with Pastor James Walk and Pastor Charles Jury officiating.
