Police Report: Philipsburg PSP

An incident of criminal mischief occurred at 3 p.m. Saturday on East Presqueisle Street in Philipsburg Borough. Someone damaged the rear, passenger’s side tire of a 71-year-old Philipsburg man’s vehicle. Anyone with information regarding this incident is asked to contact the Philipsburg-based state police at 814-342-3370.
An incident of theft occurred sometime between 12 a.m. and 1 a.m. Friday on Spotts Road in Union Township. Three, separate suspects entered and removed U.S. Currency and merchandise from a business. An incident of terroristic threats/Act 64 occurred Nov. 22 on South High Street in Port Matilda Borough. State police responded for reports of terroristic threats with a hatchet and subsequent harassment. During the incident, a verbal argument turned physical over a Trivial Pursuit question. Upon state police arrival, they seized the hatchet and subsequently discovered it was drug paraphernalia. Charges will be filed through the district court.
An incident of criminal mischief occurred Nov. 22 on South Smith Street in Port Matilda Borough. A 40-year-old Port Matilda woman reported damage to a bathroom window, which was allegedly caused by another 40-year-old Port Matilda woman. Charges will be filed through the district court.
