RUSH TOWNSHIP – A 37-year-old Pittsburgh man sustained major injuries and was transported to the Altoona Hospital following a single-vehicle accident at 12:05 a.m. Sunday on Black Moshannon Road in Rush Township.
The Philipsburg-based state police identified the accident victim as Joseph R. Petrina, 37, of Pittsburgh. He was not wearing his seatbelt at the time of the accident. He was extricated from the vehicle by the Hope and Reliance fire departments.
