CLEARFIELD – Joseph B. Bower Jr., president and chief executive officer of CNB Bank recently announced the promotion of Eric A. Johnson, CTFA, to the position of Assistant Vice President/Wealth & Asset Management.
Johnson joined CNB Bank as member of the management training program in 2004. Immediately following the intensive training program, Johnson obtained a position in the bank’s Wealth & Asset Management Services division as Trust Administrator. In 2010, he was promoted to Trust Officer.
In his new position, Johnson will primarily be responsible for wealth and asset management, trust administration, business development, estate planning and administration.
“Eric has shown tremendous professional growth since he joined CNB in 2004,” Mr. Bower went on to say, “His capacity for learning the intricacies of the wealth and asset management division are exemplary and he is enthusiastic about finding the right products and services for his clients. A native of Clearfield, Johnson graduated from Clearfield Area High School in 2000 and received his Bachelor’s degree in economics from Allegheny College in 2004. He continued his education and attained his Master’s degree in business administration (MBA) from Saint Francis University in 2009. He was recently awarded the Certified Trust and Financial Advisor (CTFA) designation from the Institute of Certified Bankers (ICB), a subsidiary of the American Bankers Association, in Washington, D.C.
He currently resides in Curwensville with his wife, Tracy, and their children, Maci and Broc Heitsenrether and Tucker and Grace Johnson. He is a member of St. John Lutheran Church of Clearfield. He is the Curwensville High School assistant varsity basketball coach and volunteers for the annual King of the Mountain Bike Race to raise funds for the local Habitat for Humanity.
