Gladys J. (Brown) Davis, 72, of Madera died Tuesday, Nov. 20, 2012 at the Clearfield Hospital.
She was born July 27, 1940, at St. Michael, a daughter of the late Howard and Catherine (Fuge) Brown.
She worked as a sewing machine operator for various area factories and was a member of the Curwensville Moose.
She’s survived by a daughter, Teresa M. Gamble and her husband, Larry of
Tarentum; a son, Harry V. Davis Jr. and his wife, Tina of Smoke Run; and six grandchildren and nine great-grandchildren.
She’s survived by three sisters and a brother, Magarette Conklin and her husband, Albert of Hawk Run; Norene Sanker and her husband, Gorman of Shiffield, OH; Judy Reams and her husband, Eugene of Coal Run; and Howard Brown of Houtzdale; and numerous nieces and nephews.
She’s also survived by her companion of 30 years, Richard Adam of Madera.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by a son, Rick A. Davis; a granddaughter, Autumn Coleman; four sisters, Maxine Murray, Viola Wojtowich, Delores Eckley and Irene Brown and brother, John Thomas Brown.
At her request, there will be no public visitation and a memorial service will be announced at a later date.
