Mabel Elizabeth Tudor, 84, formerly of Falls Creek, died Tuesday, Nov. 20, 2012 at the DuBois Nursing Home.
Born March 4, 1928 in DuBois, she was the daughter of the late Ralph and Francis (Hunter) Shaffer.
On June 4, 1948, she married Irvin J. Tudor. He preceded her in death Feb. 9, 1998.
She retired from Brockway Glass Co. in the decorating department after 25 years of service.
She was a member of Beechwoods Presbyterian Church, where she belonged to the Ladies Circle. She enjoyed gardening.
She is survived by two sons, James L. Tudor and David C. Tudor and his wife, Peggy, both of Falls Cree; four sisters, Irene Raybuck of Falls Creek; Louise Crawford of Brookville; Barbara Smith of Hazen; and Diane Bell of Farmington Creek, SC; two brothers, Wendell E. Shaffer and Robert E. Shaffer, both of Falls Creek; four grandchildren; and two great-grandchildren.
Friends will be received from 11 a.m. until the hour of services Friday at the Goble-Baronick Funeral Home.
A funeral service will be held at 12 p.m. Friday at the funeral home with the Rev. Joseph Tagliaferre officiating.
Burial will be in Beechwoods Cemetery.
