Paul F. Turner, 80, of Hollidaysburg and formerly of West Decatur and Clearfield, died Tuesday, Nov. 6, 2012 at the Hollidaysburg Veterans Home. He was the son of the late Alvy Turner Sr. and Iva (Droll) Turner.
Mr. Turner was of the Christian faith. He was a U.S. Army veteran of the Korean War. He was a member of the L.O.O.Moose in Clearfield and Eagles, both of Clearfield.
He retired from Kurtz Brothers in Clearfield as an accountant. He was a 1949 graduate of the former Philipsburg High School and a graduate of the Altoona Business School.
In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by three brothers, Alvy Turner Jr., Lloyd Turner and Terry Turner; and a sister, Sandra Turner.
Mr. Turner is survived by a sister, Shirley Robert and her husband, Henry of Tallahassee, FL; a brother, Wesley Turner and his wife, Judy of Springville, NY; and a sister-in-law, Vera Turner of West Decatur.
The funeral service will be at 2 p.m. Saturday at the Heath Funeral Home in Osceola Mills, with the Rev. Scott Hartsock officiating. Burial will be at Mock’s Hill Cemetery in West Decatur.
The family will receive friends from 12 p.m. until the time of the funeral service Saturday at the funeral home.
