An incident of criminal mischief occurred sometime between 6 p.m. Monday and 1:55 a.m. Tuesday at the Muskett Bar in Ramey Borough. Someone vandalized a 33-year-old Madera woman’s vehicle, a Dodge Caravan, by spray painting obscenities on it. They also egged the vehicle. Anyone with information regarding this incident is asked to contact the Clearfield-based state police at 814-857-3800.
No injuries were reported after a single-vehicle accident at 9:32 p.m. Monday on Crooked Sewer Road in Decatur Township. Levi J. Holton, 19, of Houtzdale was traveling southbound when he struck a deer that emerged from the west berm.
A hit-and-run accident occurred at 5:25 p.m. Monday on Walton Street in Decatur Township. Edward A. Troy, 67, of Philipsburg was stopped in the northbound lane, where he waited to turn left onto Weller Circle. An operator of a Jeep was traveling northbound and struck the rear of the Troy vehicle. The Jeep’s operator then fled the scene and traveled northbound on Walton Street. It would have sustained damage to its driver’s side as a result of the accident. The Jeep was described as red with a vinyl top.
