CLEARFIELD – The 2013 CNB Bank calendars are currently available at all branch offices, and the public is invited to stop in for a free copy.
In August, 12 winning photographs were selected to be featured in the 2013 CNB Bank wall calendars. Photographer, Kevin M. Mills, held the difficult task of selecting the winning photographs from more than 160 entries. Mills currently teaches photography at the Huntingdon Vo-Tech School.
The calendar features local photos of Pennsylvania wildlife. Fred Anderson of Kane submitted his photo entitled “Up, Up and Away!” and was named Judge’s Best of Show.
Other winners are Tom Dorsey of Kersey; Cathie Ensminger and Terry Malloy, both of Clearfield; Jack Frank of Philipsburg; Marie McHugh of Smithmill; Jim Merritt and David Woods, both of Ridgway; Vanessa Rumsky and Jody-ann Spangler, both of St. Marys; and Paul Staniszewski of Troutville.
In addition, 24 photographs earned honorable mention. Those photographs were captured by Kimberly Brown, Peggy Coppolo, Angie Deliman, Tom Dorsey, Bonnie Drost, Cathie Ensminger, Jes Hartzell, Barbara Lorenz, Terry Malloy, Jackson Martini, Tracey Pearce, Bill Simbeck, Larry Simon, Carolyn Smeal, Samantha Soltis, Jody-ann Spangler, Joanna Stanek, Devon Tarner, Meg Voyzey, Ricky Werneth, Gretchen Wicks and Jaclyn Winship.
CNB Bank would like to thank all of the individuals who submitted an entry, as it makes the calendar a continued success. The bank initiated this contest to provide an avenue to feature local talent and the communities in which it serves through the eyes of residents as they’ve captured with their camera.
