PHILIPSBURG – The Philipsburg-based state police are reminding motorists that aggressive driving will not be tolerated on Pennsylvania roadways. In addition, districted motorists are more likely to become involved in an accident.
State police said the new “no texting” law is in effect and will be enforced. Motorists are to avoid using their cellular phones, while they’re operating a motor vehicle. With winter weather approaching, motorists are to be cautious of slippery roadway conditions, especially in higher elevations.
Motorists are also reminded to lock their vehicles and residences. This will prevent them from becoming victims of theft.
