People are then requested to send money to the FBI at an out-of-state address. The computer is then locked by the scam. Police advise this is a scam and not send money as instructed.

- A domestic assault occurred on West Front Street after which a male needed medical attention. A female was arrested and placed in the Clearfield County Jail for a probation violation. Charges of simple assault and harassment are being filed.
