CLEARFIELD – Clearfield Borough police arrested a 40-year-old Clearfield man Wednesday after executing a search warrant at his 313 Margaretta St. residence as part of an investigation into an incident of theft and forgery.
Eric Decker Jr., 40, of Clearfield has been charged with forgery, bad checks, theft by deception, identity theft and receiving stolen property. He could face additional charges pending investigation for a felon not to possess firearms.
As a result of the search warrant served at Decker’s residence, police located numerous merchandise and weapons.
Decker was arraigned before Magisterial District Judge Richard Ireland and lodged in the Clearfield County Jail on $50,000 bail. His preliminary hearing has been scheduled for 11:30 a.m. Oct. 24 at the CCJ.
