Police Report: Ridgway PSP

The investigation is continuing into the death of a 31-year-old Johnsonburg man that occurred sometime between 2:30 p.m. Thursday and 7 a.m. Friday in a power line area south of state Route 255 in Ridgway Township. The man was found deceased inside his vehicle, and there aren’t any suspicious circumstances surrounding his death.
The investigation is continuing into an incident of aggravated assault that occurred 1 p.m. Thursday at the intersection of SR 219 and SR 948 in Ridgway Township. Two state troopers were attempting to serve a warrant on a 55-year-old Ridgway man. He allegedly attempted to flee and swung at one trooper and also threatened to stab the other with a pen. He was subdued and then apprehended by the troopers.
