Richard H. “Dick” Dixon, 73, of Hyde died Sunday, Oct. 7, 2012 at his home.
He was born May 24, 1939 in Clearfield, the son of Lemuel and Hilda (Hainsey) Dixon.
Mr. Dixon was a retired coal miner.
He is survived by a son, Douglas Dixon and a daughter, Amanda Dixon Kidwell, both of Boynton Beach, FL.
Also surviving are five grandchildren, Alexa Kidwell, Haley Kidwell, Katelyn Kidwell, Camryn Dixon and Jacob Dixon; a brother, Alvin Dixon of Frenchville; and his companion, Betty J. Cook of Hyde.
Mr. Dixon was preceded in death by his parents; six brothers, Delmar, James, John, Charles, Raymond and Lewis; three infant brothers; and one sister, Jeanette Fry.
Honoring Mr. Dixon’s wishes there will be no public viewing or visitation.
The family suggests that contributions be made to Living Bread Ministry, 628 Daisy St., Clearfield, PA 16830.
