George J. Warholak, 46, of Rockton died Tuesday, Oct. 9, 2012 at the DuBois Regional Medical Center.
Born May 1, 1966 in Clearfield, he was the son of George Warholak and the late Dorothy (Krupar) Warholak. His father survives and lives in Clearfield.
On Aug. 24, 1994, he married Amy J. (Johnston) Warholak. She preceded him in death Dec. 26, 2010.
He was an instructor at Triangle Tech in Falls Creek for many years.Â
He was on the board of directors for Clearfield County Farm Bureau. He was an avid football fan and especially loved Penn State University.Â
He was a member of St. Michael the Archangel Roman Catholic Church.
Mr. Warholak is survived by his children, James A. Warholak and Christina J. Warholak, both of DuBois and Jesta M. Warholak and Jodalynn M. Warholak, both of Rockton; three sisters, Ann Marie Warholak and Patricia Warholak, both of Clearfield and Debra Kollar and her husband, John of Rossiter; and one grandchild, Serenity J. Nedza.
He was preceded in death by his brother, Thomas Warholak.
The family will receive friends from 3 p.m. – 7 p.m. Thursday at the Goble-Baronick Funeral Home.
A private funeral service will be held Friday at the funeral home with Fr. David Foradori officiating.
Burial will be in St. Michael’s Cemetery.
