CLEARFIELD – The Lawrence Township Police Department today cautioned residents about a scam that appears to be from the U.S. Census Bureau.
A Clearfield resident received a mailing and phone call from someone who claimed they represented the bureau. The caller was requesting personal information, which the resident didn’t provide.
Police would like to advise residents not to provide any personal information by mail or phone.
