DUBOIS – Now that school is back in session and fall has finally arrived, the American Red Cross will be offering health and safety preparedness courses during the month of October.
Preparation is the key to confronting life-threatening situations, which can happen at any moment, so the Red Cross has designed its courses to equip individuals with the fundamental skills and training to respond effectively in real-life emergencies.
Being certified in Red Cross CPR and First Aid ensures that individuals can react quickly and appropriately in the event of an emergency. Area residents are encouraged to sign up for a health and safety preparedness course and become one of the more than five million people who have already enrolled and learned how to save a life.
The following classes will be offered in Dubois this month. The courses will be held at the PA Heartland Red Cross office, located at 109 N. Brady St. in DuBois.
