Constance “Connie” Hoskavich Lingenfelter, 69, of DuBois died Thursday, Sept. 27, 2012 at Select Specialty Hospital in Erie.
Born Oct. 8, 1942, she was the daughter of Michael and Sara (Snyder) Hoskavich. On May 1, 1965, she married Edward A. Lingenfelter. He survives.
She was the owner/operator of her own beauty shop for many years. She also was an aide for special needs children for the DuBois Area School District, a job in which she loved.
Mrs. Lingenfelter was a member of Trinity United Methodist Church in DuBois.
She loved to go camping and spending time with her great-grandchildren.
She’s survived by her children, Lisa Lingenfelter, Brenda Lingenfelter, Edward Lingenfelter Jr., Amy Powers and her husband, Scott and Jason Lingenfelter, all of DuBois; a sister, Judy Stoddard and her husband, Al of DuBois; two brothers, Raymond Hoskavich and his wife, Rhonda of Gainesville, FL and Jeff Hoskavich and his wife, Ann of Easton; six grandchildren, and four great-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her parents and one son, Todd Smith.
The family will receive friends from 2 p.m. – 4 p.m. and from 6 p.m. – 8 p.m. Monday at the Goble-Baronick Funeral Home.
A funeral service will be held at 10:30 a.m. Tuesday at the funeral home with Pastor Deb Rogosky officiating.
Burial will be in Salem Cemetery.
