JOHNSONBURG — The Pennsylvania State Police and the Bureau of Alcohol, Tobacco, Firearms and Explosives (ATF) served a federal search warrant Wednesday at an East Avenue residence in Johnsonburg. State police told WJAC-TV David A. Blashaw, 55, lived at the residence.
The warrant was served as a result of information discovered during the arson investigations surrounding the accused Francis Anthony Milliard.
Milliard is currently in jail awaiting trial for arson, attempted homicide, possession of firearms and related charges.
Officials searched Blashaw’s home for nearly five hours on Wednesday. State police told WJAC-TV that the ATF is now an assisting agency with the investigation surrounding Milliard.
Officials said that they seized a small amount of marijuana and drug paraphernalia. State police could not comment on what the ATF seized from the home.
State police said ATF agents of Pittsburgh conducted the search and a warrant was authorized by a U.S. Attorney in Erie. Blashaw was not taken into custody.
All investigations are continuing at this time.
