Lillian Gladine DeSalve McMillen, 81, of DuBois and formerly of Penfield, died Saturday, Sept. 22, 2012 at the DuBois Nursing Home.
Born Jan. 4, 1931 in Penfield, she was the daughter of the late James Cletas and Selma Oleta (Beck) Munn.
On Oct. 9, 1948, she married John DeSalve. He preceded her in death. On April 16, 1977, she married William E. McMillen, who also preceded her in death.
Mrs. McMillen worked at BF Goodrich in DuBois for 17 years. She enjoyed bowling, knitting, gardening and her grandchildren.
She is survived by two daughters, Beverly Hudsick of DuBois and Karen Marzella and her husband, Benjamin of Ridgway; a son, Glen DeSalve and his wife, Patricia of Gettysburg; seven grandchildren, Amy Goode, Kevin Hudsick, James Wilson Jr., John Wilson, Jennifer Chittester, Dana Haupt and Lori Jarbeck; and 11 great-grandchildren. She is also survived by two sisters, Fay Cimino of Clearfield and Catherine Scilingo of Gainesville, VA and two brothers, Kenneth Munn and his wife, Joanne of Penfield and Leslie Munn of Clearfield.
She was preceded in death by two brothers, Albert and James Munn and four sisters, Shirley Osti, Belva Hixon, Janis Haupt and Betty Dodd.
A private family viewing and funeral services are being held Monday at the Goble-Baronick Funeral Home with Pastor Dick Whitaker officiating.
Memorials may be placed with the charity of the donor’s choice.
