WILLIAMSPORT — Senior starting wide receiver Jarrin Campman (Clearfield) scored the go-ahead touchdown on a 47-yard reception, one of his four catches, as Lycoming (2-1) followed up its upset of Middle Atlantic Conference preseason favorite Delaware Valley with another big win, 21-13, over visiting Lebanon Valley (2-1)Â Saturday afternoon.
Down 3-0, the Warriors came to life late in the first quarter with sophomore quarterback Tyler Jenny (Coalport/Glendale Area High School) and Campman hooking up for a 17-yard gain before clicking again for the TD on the first play of the second period to the delight of the 1,895 fans at David Person Field.
Campman wound up with a team-high 74 yards receiving and also returned one punt for six yards.
Jenny completed 15 of 23 yards for 168 yards and kept the ball four times for 26 yards.
Campman leads the Warriors in receiving yards with 148 on 13 receptions and touchdowns with three.
Jenny is 50-for-85 for 507 yards and three TDs through the air. He’s 53 yards and one TD on 16 carries.
Lycoming is tied for first place in the MAC with Albright and Widener.

INDIANA — Freshman running back Alex Holland (Curwensville) capped undefeated Indiana’s explosive second half by scoring from five yards out with 1:06 remaining as the Crimson Hawks, ranked No. 17 in NCAA Division II, turned a 7-0 halftime lead into a 42-0 rout of Lock Haven (0-3) Saturday afternoon.
Pat Brewer’s 82-yard return of the second half kickoff by freshman Alex Boumerhi (Philipsburg) provided the spark for IUP (3-0) in the Pennsylvania State Athletic Conference West Division opener watched by 1,860 fans at Miller Stadium.
Holland got the call on three successive plays to cover the final 14 yards, giving him 110 yards on 22 carries in the last two games. He has scored a trio of touchdowns.
For Lock Haven, redshirt junior wide receiver Jesse Hoover (Curwensville) started but had no catches while freshman running back Beau Swales (Clearfield) netted four yards on two carries.
Redshirt freshman tight end Kyle Barrett (Curwensville)Â played in his second game for the Bald Eagles, whose losing streak stands at 45 games, the longest in the nation.
Hoover has four receptions for 53 yards and Swales has six carries for 16 yards and two kickoff returns for 34 yards.

ERIE — Redshirt senior starting linebacker Nate Sipes (Curwensville) was involved in six stops, including one solo tackle, and freshman center Eric White (Clearfield) again was the longsnapper for Clarion (1-2) in a 22-14 loss to Mercyhurst (2-1) at Memorial Stadium Saturday afternoon.
The Pennsylvania State Athletic Conference West Division opener for both teams drew 1,500 fans to Tullio Field.
Sipes is second among Golden Eagle defenders with 23 stops, which have him tied for 12th in the PSAC.

OBERLIN, Ohio — Senior starting corner back David Kalgren (Curwensville) registered seven solo tackles and broke up two passes for the Oberlin (1-1) defense, but Ohio Wesleyan (2-1) spoiled the Yeomen’s home opener, 29-17, with 1,642 looking on at Savage Stadium Saturday afternoon.
He also returned three punts for 25 yards and one kickoff for 11 yards.
The Yeomen led 17-16 late in the third quarter of their first North Coast Athletic Conference game before the Battling Bishops scored the final 13 points.  Â
Kalgren, who has five fair catches, leads the NCAC with a punt return average of 13 yards for five runbacks, and he’s tied for second in interceptions with two, both of which he returned for touchdowns.

SLIPPERY ROCK — Redshirt freshman safety Derek Morgan (Clearfield) saw action as Slippery Rock (2-1) rolled past Gannon (1-2) 38-18 in their Pennsylvania State Athletic Conference West Division opener that attracted 8,612 fans into Mihalik-Thompson Stadium Saturday night.
Morgan has appeared in all three games for The Rock with two solo tackles and two assists.

VALPARAISIO, Ind. — Redshirt junior starting center Nick Redden (Clearfield) anchored the Duquesne (2-1) offensive line that paved the way for 261 rushing yards and a 5.2 average in a 45-17Â win over Valparaiso (0-3) in front of 2,177 fans at Brown Field Saturday afternoon.
Duquesne trailed 17-7 after one quarter before shifting into high gear to wrap up its non-conference schedule with a 546-yard performance.
