An incident of theft occurred at 1:15 p.m. Friday in a wooded area of Snowdrift Road in Ridgway Township. A 25-year-old Northampton, MA man left his duffle bag and two backpacks under some brush, while he went to the Summit Motel. The victim returned and observed two all-terrain vehicles driving away. One ATV had his duffle bag on it. Minor injuries were reported following a two-vehicle accident at 6:15 p.m. Friday on U.S. Route 219 in Horton Township. Angela D. Baird, 28, of DuBois and Bryan J. Slovinsky, 27, of Sagamore were traveling southbound when the latter vehicle slowed for another turning left ahead. The Baird vehicle approached and rear-ended that of Slovinsky. Baird was transported to the DuBois Regional Medical Center with minor injuries. Both she and Slovinsky were wearing their seatbelts. Baird was cited for following too closely.
An incident of harassment occurred at 2:45 p.m. Sunday at Poplar Road resident in Jay Township. A 21-year-old Weedville man reported that a 46-year-old Byrnedale man subjected him to unwanted physical contact and threatened him. The man was charged through the district court in St. Marys.
