CLEARFIELD – A memorial ceremony honored service men and women and remembered the Sept.11, 2001 terrorist attacks on America on the 11th anniversary Tuesday morning at the courthouse square.
The county’s memorial flag was raised during the ceremony and will fly today at half-staff with a new American flag until sunset. The memorial flag will be brought down and placed back on display.
A memorial wreath of red, white and blue carnations was presented and placed before the Sept. 11 memorial stone at the courthouse.
