CLEARFIELD – Clearfield County District Attorney William A. Shaw Jr. has announced Clearfield County’s Fugitive of the Week for the week of Sept. 4.
Shaw identified the fugitive as Krisa Marie Schake, 27, of North Third Street, Clearfield. Schake is wanted for failure to appear at criminal call July 12.
On April 29, 2011, Patrolman Crystal Panebianco of the Lawrence Township Police Department filed a criminal complaint, charging Schake with retail theft and receiving stolen property.
An affidavit of probable cause filed by Panebianco states that on March 21, 2011, Lawrence Township police received a report about a theft incident at a South Second Street business. Upon investigation, it was found that Schake and another individual had unlawfully taken merchandise from the store.
A preliminary hearing was held June 8, 2011, at which time all charges were held to court. On July 12, Schake failed to appear for criminal call and a warrant was issued for her arrest.
Schake is described as a Caucasian woman that stands 5 feet, 3 inches tall. She has hazel eyes and blonde hair.
Anyone with knowledge of Schake’s location is asked to call Clearfield County Crime Stoppers at (800)-376-4700. All calls to Crime Stoppers are confidential.
