An incident of harassment occurred at 10:35 a.m. Monday on New Jersey Avenue in Highland Township. A 45-year-old James City woman allegedly arrived at a James City residence and screamed at a 53-year-old woman while she was walking her dog. The accused left but allegedly returned and screamed at a 38-year-old James City man while he was working in his yard. The accused was arrested for harassment; a citation has been filed through the district court.
An incident of DUI occurred at 6:17 a.m. Saturday along state Route 948 at its intersection with SR 255 in Fox Township. A 40-year-old Ridgway woman was found passed out behind the wheel of her vehicle, which was partially blocking the right, southbound lane of SR 255. While speaking with her, state police detected a strong odor of alcohol. She was subsequently arrested for DUI and other summary charges through the district court.
An incident of criminal trespass occurred sometime between 12:45 p.m. and 1 p.m. Friday at a Shawmut Road residence in Horton Township. Someone entered a 28-year-old Brockport man’s residence and then into his bedroom. They removed his infant daughter’s diaper while she slept before fleeing the scene with the diaper. Through investigation, it was determined that no unwanted persons had entered the man’s residence.
An incident of harassment occurred at 7 p.m. Wednesday along Gillouly Avenue in Ridgway Township. Two Ridgway men engaged in a verbal dispute that escalated to them shoving and kicking each other. Both declined to seek prosecution; the investigation was terminated.
An incident of harassment occurred at 7:15 p.m. Saturday at a camp located on Grant Road in Ridgway Township. During teasing and joking while playing horseshoes, a 44-year-old Ridgway man allegedly tossed a horseshoe at a 17-year-old Pittsburgh boy and struck him in the face. The boy sustained minor injuries to his face area.
A hit-and-run occurred at 5:40 p.m. Saturday at the Dam Inn parking lot in Jones Township. A Chevrolet Tahoe was unattended in the parking lot, facing east. Another Chevrolet – unknown model – was backing up from a parked position on the west side of the lot. It was approximately 40 feet west of the parked Tahoe. While backing up, the Chevrolet struck the rear bumper of the Tahoe and then fled the scene.
An incident of criminal mischief occurred sometime between 1:15 a.m. and 2:30 a.m. at the Last Chance Inn in Fox Township. Someone used a blunt object and struck a 30-year-old Kersey man’s truck in the front driver’s side quarter panel above the wheel before fleeing the scene.
An incident of burglary occurred sometime between 1:30 a.m. Aug. 25 and 3 p.m. Friday at a Lime Kiln Road residence in Jones Township. Someone entered a 64-year-old St. Marys man’s garage and removed a 2009 John Deere LX 280 lawn tractor that was valued at $4,000. The victim is offering a reward for information, state police said.
