AUSTIN – A Biking the Lowlands Trail program has been announced for 11 a.m. Sept. 9 at the Sinnemahoning State Park.
Join the park naturalist for a morning interpretive bike tour of the Lowlands Trail. Take a leisurely ride through rich wildlife habitats and areas where people once lived and worked. Learn how the 40 Maples Day-Use Area earned its name.
The Lowlands Trail, which has a Rails-To-Trails surface, is a fairly level, easy ride. Bring your own bike, or borrow one of ours. Meet at the Wildlife Center along Park Road near the Cameron/Potter county line. Water, sunscreen, and insect repellant are recommended.
