Nancy J. McAfoose, 75, of Curwensville died Saturday, Aug. 25, 2012 at the Ridgeview Elder Care and Rehabilitation Center, Curwensville.
She was born April 24, 1937 in Reynoldsville, a daughter of the late Charles M. and Nellie (English) Hughes.
Mrs. McAfoose was employed as a registered nurse at Christ the King Manor, DuBois.
She is survived by two children, Steven McAfoose and his wife, Debbi of El Paso,TX and Debra McAfoose of Westover; two grandchildren, Kayte and Cody McAfoose, both of El Paso, TX; and two sisters, Joye Osborne of Franklin and Patricia Paris of Clearfield.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her son, Kevin McAfoose and two brothers, Malcolm and Herbert Hughes.
Graveside services were held at the convenience of the family. Burial was in the Lakelawn Memorial Park, Luthersburg.
In lieu of flowers, the family suggests memorial contributions be made to Clearfield County Area Agency on Aging, P.O. Box 550, Clearfield.
