Police Report: DuBois PSP

State police conducted a death investigation and determined a 23-year-old Reynoldsville man died as a result of a self-inflicted gunshot would sometime between 8 a.m. and 3 p.m. Wednesday. State police were assisted by the Sykesville Ambulance Service and the Jefferson County Coroner’s Office.
An incident of simple assault/harassment occurred on Monday along state Route 310 in Winslow Township. Two Reynoldsville residents were arguing when it escalated into a physical altercation. Afterward, the accused, a 36-year-old Reynoldsville man, was lodged in the Jefferson County Jail, where he awaits arraignment.
