An incident of DUI occurred at 12:42 a.m. Sunday along state Route 1001 in Jones Township. State police encountered a known 39-year-old St. Marys man during routine patrol. He was suspected to be under the influence of drugs while an operator of a vehicle. He was transported to the Elk Regional Health Center for blood tests. Charges of DUI are anticipated after receiving the test results and will be filed through the district court.
An incident of DUI occurred at 8:43 p.m. Monday along Zola and Coal Hollow roads in Fox Township. A 61-year-old Ridgway man was found in his vehicle in a ditch. He was transported to the Elk Regional Health Center for blood tests. It was determined his blood-alcohol content was over the legal limit. Charges of DUI are pending in the district court.
