The fire department was assisted with the odor of gas in a residence on East Cherry Street.
Police checked the welfare of a man on South Third Street after someone observed him leaning on a parking meter. The man reportedly appeared to be in distress. Police learned he was OK.
A hit-and-run accident occurred on South Second Street at its intersection with East Cherry Street. A Clearfield woman reported that she was traveling on East Cherry Street when a vehicle traveling north on South Second Street failed to stop for a solid red signal and struck the passenger rear of her vehicle. The suspect vehicle is gold Chevy Tahoe; a partial registration plate was obtained by a witness of HDK 11. The operator of the vehicle is described as an older female with gray or blonde hair. Anyone with information is asked to call Police at 765-7819.
