Gerald L. Bryan, 84, of Osceola Mills died Tuesday, Aug. 14, 2012 at his home.
Mr. Bryan was born to the late Thomas and Freda (Stonebraker) Bryan on June 19, 1928. He was married to Joann M. (Mathews) Bryan on Feb. 28, 1953 in Osceola Mills.
He was of the Christian faith.
Mr. Bryan was a U.S. Army veteran of the Korean War. He was retired from the former Rising Sons in Osceola Mills.
In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by a grandson, Larry Josefik; an infant great-grandson, Trevor Hubler; two brothers, Ronald Bryan and Thomas Bryan Jr.; and a sister, Freda Walker.
Along with his wife, Mr. Bryan is survived by three daughters, Joyce Franek of Drifting, Denise Dillon of Philipsburg and Delores Hudson of Osceola Mills; two sisters, Betty Grossmer of Philadelphia and Shirley Matier of Osceola Mills; six grandchildren; and eight great-grandchildren.
A funeral service will be at 11 a.m. Saturday at the Heath Funeral Home in Osceola Mills, with the Rev. Donald Smith officiating. Burial will be at the Centre Cemetery in rural Osceola Mills.
The family will receive friends from 3 p.m. – 5 p.m. Friday and from 10 a.m. until the time of services Saturday at the funeral home.
Military honors will be accorded by the Osceola Mills Honor Guard.
