HIGHLAND TOWNSHIP – Minor injuries were reported following a single-vehicle accident at 2:40 p.m. Friday along state Route 948 in Highland Township, the Ridgway-based state police reported.
Billi J. Gesin, 20, of Fairplay, MD was traveling northbound when her vehicle began to slide. The Gesin vehicle then slid into the guiderails on the west berm. Her vehicle’s front end went onto the guiderails and it overturned before coming to a rest on its roof in a ditch off the roadway.
Both Gesin and her boy passenger sustained minor injuries. She was wearing her seatbelt and the boy was in a child safety seat. Gesin was cited for not driving her vehicle at a safe speed.
