Area poets and photographers are invited to submit entries in support of local Centers for Active Living. The competition is sponsored by the Pennsylvania Association of Senior Centers (PASC) Conference and winning photos and poems, as well as other selected photos and poems, will be displayed at the PASC Conference in October.
The contest is open to amateur and professional county residents age 50 and over, and will showcase this year’s theme: Mind, Body, Spirit. A panel of judges will determine winning entries based on composition, originality and overall appeal. Cash prizes will be awarded for each category in the amounts of $100, $75, and $50. All entries must be submitted by 1 p.m. Monday, Aug. 27 at any area Center for Active Living.Â
