LaFall McBride, 15, of Smoke Run died Friday in Glen Hope. Born Nov. 15, 1996 in Clearfield, she was the daughter of Charles Myers and Sue (McBride) High of Philipsburg and Donnie R. Jr. and Katie McBride of Smoke Run.
She was a member of the cheerleading squad, soccer team and chorus at Moshannon Valley High School. She was preparing to begin her junior year.
Miss McBride was preceded in death by her maternal great-grandfather, Kenneth Singer; paternal great-grandfather, William Emigh; and paternal great-grandparents, Charles and Maxine Myers.
She was survived by four brothers, Joseph Graham of Clearfield and Robert and Charles “C.J.” Myers and Tyler High, all of Philipsburg and two sisters, Lynnanne Ochenduzko and her husband, Joshua and Nakonna “Tink” Lingenfelter, both of Philipsburg.
Miss McBride is also survived by her maternal grandmother, Rachel Traveny of Smoke Run, maternal grandfather, Donnie R. McBride Sr. of New Millport, paternal grandparents, Charles F. and Amanda (Emigh) Myers of Woodland, maternal great-grandmother, Minnie Singer of Chester Hill, maternal great-grandparents, Clarence and Dolores (Fye) McBride of West Decatur; paternal great-grandmother, Ruby Emigh of Hawk Run and several cousins.
A funeral service will be held at 1 p.m. Thursday at the Beezer-Heath Funeral Home, 719 East Spruce St., Philipsburg with the Pastor Jerry Spencer officiating. Burial will be in the Philipsburg Cemetery.
The family will receive friends from 10 a.m. until the time of services Thursday at the funeral home.
