The annual New Millport Picnic will be held Saturday, Aug. 18 at the picnic grounds. The festivities will begin at 2 p.m.
There will be food, music, crafts, homemade quilts and a church bake sale. Local potter and craftsman, Jason Bloom will have his wares on display and for sale.
The Annual Old Timer’s Softball Game will begin at 2:15 p.m. Anyone who is interested in participating is welcome and needs only to bring a glove.
The ham and turkey dinner will be served from 4:30 p.m. – 6:30 p.m. at a cost of $8.
At 7 p.m., the Young Town Players will perform a “Concert in the Park” with a “little jazz, pickin’ and grinning and classical rock.”
