CLEARFIELD – PennDOT is advising drivers that a portion of Interstate 80 westbound in Clearfield County will be closed today to make emergency repairs. The right (travel) lane of I-80 westbound will be closed between mile markers 113 and 111, starting at 11 a.m. The lane restriction is expected to be lifted by 4 p.m. today.
The closure will allow contractor Grannas Brothers Contracting Co. Inc. of Hollidaysburg to repair a section of roadway damaged after a tractor-trailer accident and subsequent vehicle fire yesterday.
Drivers should be alert for stopped or slowed traffic along I-80.
