CLEARFIELD – A 32-year-old Madera man, Jason G. Dixon, who has been accused of sexually assaulting a 13-year-old girl, waived his right to a preliminary hearing Wednesday during Centralized Court at the Clearfield County Jail.
Dixon faces charges of statutory sexual assault, involuntary deviate sexual intercourse, criminal attempt/statutory sexual assault, aggravated indecent assault, corruption of minors and indecent assault.
Magisterial District Judge Jerome M. Nevling modified Dixon’s bail to $40,000 monetary. The accused’s bail had previously been set at $50,000 monetary.
According to the affidavit of probable cause, on May 30, the victim was introduced to Dixon through her friend in front of his residence. Later that night, they began exchanging text messages.
On May 31, the girl went to Dixon’s residence and entered the kitchen area. He allegedly began kissing the girl on the lips and it escalated to French kissing at which time he asked if she wanted to have sex with him.
They moved onto a couch in the living room area, where Dixon allegedly removed the girl’s pants and underwear. Then, he allegedly undressed himself and began fondling the girl’s genitals.
Dixon was allegedly attempting intercourse when the girl stopped him and told him she couldn’t do it. Both dressed and the girl left Dixon’s residence. On June 5, Dixon admitted to committing sexual acts with the girl despite knowing she was 13 years old.
Dixon provided police with a recorded confession, which contained this information.
