RIDGWAY TOWNSHIP – An incident of burglary occurred sometime between 7:30 p.m. and 10 p.m. July 23 at the Ridgway Commons, the Ridgway-based state police reported.
A person(s) gained entry into a 22-year-old Ridgway woman’s apartment, and once inside they rummaged through drawers and closets. The victim’s make-up products and various DVDs were stolen. These items were valued at $120.
In addition, the person(s) damaged the drywall within the apartment. The drywall is owned by Stanford Management LLC of Portland, ME. Damage was listed at $30.
In a separate incident, a 35-year-old Ridgway woman’s apartment was burglarized sometime between 8:30 p.m. and 11:59 p.m. July 20 at the Ridgway Commons.
A person(s) gained entry to the apartment, and once inside they removed jewelry from a jewelry box located in the victim’s bedroom.
One jewelry item was described as being a purple pearl necklace and earring set, which made it somewhat unique. The jewelry is worth $655.
