Police Report: Ridgway PSP

An incident of criminal attempt – forgery occurred at 6:45 p.m. Saturday at the Johnsonburg Bi-Lo store in Ridgway Township. A 40-year-old Johnstown man attempted to cash a company check. He left the store with the check before leaving the area. On Sunday, he was located in the parking lot of the Johnsonburg Bi-Lo store by the Johnsonburg Police Department. He was arraigned on charges of criminal attempt – forgery and criminal attempt – theft by deception. He was placed in the Elk County Prison.
